Airborne Objects is committed to giving back to the community. Get ready to see your child light up with excitement as they explore the amazing world of drones! In this hands-on STEM adventure, students will learn to fly, code, and command real drones while uncovering the science and technology that makes them soar. Whether they are navigating an obstacle course, running a delivery mission, or programming autonomous flights, they will be gaining skills that are as fun as they are future-focused. Each session blends interactive lessons with real flight time, building from the basics like “What is a Drone?” and “How Do They Fly?” to more advanced topics like coding flight paths, precision piloting, and solving real-world challenges. Our program aligns with Virginia Standards of Learning (SOLs) and is designed to spark curiosity in STEM fields, from engineering and coding to aviation and robotics. Students will explore: • Drone anatomy, navigation, and safe flight operations • Manual and autonomous flight including coding challenges • Real-world drone applications from emergency response to filmmaking • Team-based problem solving through flight missions and obstacle courses • STEM career pathways in aviation, engineering, and technology Action-packed classes, your child will develop problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking skills without even realizing they are learning. By the end, they will not only be confident drone pilots, but they will also understand how drones are used in exciting careers like environmental conservation, package delivery, and space exploration.
